Very bright .. just the one bulb really lights the room , I would have to agree they do burn very hot and I would ensure that they are not in contact with any part of the dolls house . Ive not been using mine long but I do wonder how many hours use they will give before they burn out ? . But overall they do give a very pleasing look to our house at night ( Glenside Grange ) and they are not terribly costly to replace .

Burns much too hot in a matter of just a few minutes ! Even the metal housing is too hot to touch. Used with a transformer and lighting strip bought here as well so they can`t be to blame. I wouldn`t trust leaving them on for any amount of time. Definately would not recommend.

These work great. Not meant to be in clear sight though. Hide them from a strategic location.

Haven't tried these yet, just bought them to put in my stash, thinking they will come in handy one day.

Really bright lights very pleased with them.
