I love this piece, & now have 2 of them! II will be using them as bookcases in the same room, either side of a fireplace, in a library room. They look great filled with books & a few ornaments. Nice & sturdy & paint up beautifully. I especially like that there is no need to fill up lower bottom shelves, as the faux cupboard at the bottom sets off the whole look of the cabinet & directs the focus to the area that is seen.

Great shelf - have ordered this before - can be used in so many different ways

I used this unit in conjunction with the triple unit to form a corner unit for my library/study. It required only a light sanding with wet or dry and I finished it with two coats of clear satin varnish. I am very pleased with the end result.

Used in my Laundry room. Cut up a cheap face cloth and put on shelf for 'washed towels' and done the same with odd pieces of materials. Fab.
