- These are so usefulThese are so useful. So far I've got 3 - I just stained one & lined it with left over dolls house wallpaper, I've covered one with leather from a charity shop pair of cloves & banded if with brass-coloured strips from wine bottles to make a millitary style one to put in my attic the other I've painted white & 'stencilled' it with decals for nails & varnished over the top. I've about to buy another to make into a servant's box that I'm going to cover with hessian, paint it black & line the inside with newspaper that I've reduced on a scanner & torn up into scraps. I just love these!
