I have lots of these in my house - it gives the impression of more rooms & a more 3 dimensional effect. With some DIY I joined 2 of these together to create a double door leading from the dining room into a 'drawing room' I sanded down the edges so that when I put the 2 doors together, there was a small gap, with a flickering bulb behind it really looks like there is another room beyond the back wall! Totally recommend at least one false door!
