I love this dollhouse and am making my way through working on the rooms.
However, I have removed the landings and second staircases in each of the hallways since the scale is incorrect. To use the landings, a person would have to be only 4' (4inches) tall. I found even the child dolls are difficult to fit in.

Disappointing, and as much as I loved the feature, I have made new stairs to reach to the ceiling and the next level. The additional understairs area in the hallways is now put to use use as a downstairs loo on the ground floor, a rest area on the first and probably and office or sewing room on the second. (Yet to be decided)

I am delighted with my Mayfair dolls house. When it arrived, although it was very well packaged, a couple of pieces were unfortunately damaged. Minimum World could not have been more helpful in sorting this out and sending replacements. An excellent service, one which I will certainly be using again as I start to decorate and furnish the dolls house.
