I love this little house

This was one of my very first houses. Such a joy to work on. The plastic doors i primed and sprayed painted and glued door knobs unto. I know a few people have commented on this. I did not use a partition wall as I created this little house as an cottage for a elderly couple so it made sense to keep the upstairs room as the bedroom and then the smaller room as the bathroom. The attic became an office slash craft room , dress making area where the old ladies like to gather and gossip lol the two rooms downstairs are the livingroom and kitchen and I was able to create a dining area also. The vicar is forever having tea in the lounge. I did not need to sand the walls to put the wallpaper up just as long as you use top of the range wallpaper paste from minimum world, works fine. Lots of paneling etc. It was such a pleasure to create and it was the first home I used real tiling on.

Seemes like a great dollhouse, and are looking foreward to assembel it. Small screw missing and plasticdoors inside is of some dissapointment, but we’ll see. Is there any blogs for assembling, funuturing and/or developing this dollhouse somewhere?

This was exactly the dollhouse I was searching for

This was exactly the dollhouse I was searching for. Minimum World was able to get for me an additional partition which I used on the first floor (second to Americans) to make two bedrooms and an upstairs hallway. I am treating the top floor as a loft or attic (where else would they store their Christmas tree?). I am still wallpapering so I have not gotten to assembling. I am thinking about using piano hinges instead of the six little hinges. Before painting the ceilings I had to use a primer. For the wallpaper, I had to lightly sand. Is anyone doing a blog on this house? I would love to see what others had done.

Excellent quality dolls' house. The kit did not have enough screws but Minimum World sent more than enough in a matter of days. I also get replies straight away when I need advice, ie. what glue to use. I'm absolutely pleased with this house. Thank you so much, Minimum World! :)

This is a beautiful dolls house. It was a joy to build. The design could be improved by partitions to make an extra room on each level.

I adore this house

I adore this house.
Potential buyers should know that there are 5 rooms. The attic top floor is one large room but I easily added a dividing wall using modelling foam sheets. The staircases have wonderfully detailed banisters that are easy to stain/paint or leave as pine. The bay windows are sturdy plastic. The only thing I really didn't like about the house is the fact that the Tudor style dark wood supports around the attic windows are only painted on. I purchased some wooden flooring sheets, pulled them apart and stuck them over the painted parts. This instantly improved the look of the house :)
