Holiday Period Notices
Ordering over Christmas: Our website remains open for orders throughout the holiday season! However, our office and warehouse will be closed from 24th Dec-28th Dec. Orders placed during this period will be shipped during the week commencing 29th Dec.
Dolls House Kits: Some kits (Streets Ahead and Dolls House Emporium brands) ship directly from the manufacturer. Any of these kits ordered between 18th Dec-4th Jan will be shipped during the week commencing 5th Jan.
Customer Service: Any customer service queries received during the holiday closure will be replied to during the week commencing 29th Dec. We appreciate your patience!
Gift Vouchers: Last issue of e-gift vouchers is 23rd Dec. Last posting date for physical gift vouchers matches our regular order deadlines above.

Please note that remote locations (such as Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands, and the Scottish Highlands & Islands) may incur additional charges. Some dolls houses will be shipped directly from our supplier’s warehouse (also based in the UK). For these shipments, your purchase contract is still with Minimum World and all your consumer rights remain the same.
Express Courier Delivery:
Express courier delivery orders will receive priority processing and orders placed before 1pm (GMT) will be shipped the same day (Mon–Fri, excluding public holidays). Orders placed after 1pm (or during the weekend) will be shipped on the next business day.
Delivery days for specialist delivery couriers are usually Monday–Friday (excluding bank holidays).

Express delivery may be delayed due to adverse weather, industrial action, or other factors beyond our control.

Standard Tracked Delivery:
Orders will usually be processed and shipped within 2 business days. Processing time may be longer during busy periods.
Standard delivery orders will usually be shipped with Royal Mail (UK postal service) and will be delivered in the US by the United States Postal Service.
Express Delivery:
Priority processing; orders placed before 1pm (GMT) ship the same day (Mon–Fri, excluding public holidays). Orders after 1pm/at weekends ship next business day.
Delivery days for specialist couriers are usually Monday–Friday.

Dollhouses & Basements:
Dollhouses, basements, and other building kits require a specialist courier. Some house kits have the shipping included in the pricing, some do not. Please check the individual product for more information.
Some items may ship directly from our supplier’s warehouse; your contract remains with Minimum World.
The Fine Print
We aim to ship all orders within 3 business days (Monday to Friday, excluding UK public holidays). From time to time, however, delays in dispatch can occur during busy periods or due to unforeseen circumstances. Delivery time estimates given for each service are guidelines only and postal events beyond our control, such as customs processing, postal strikes and adverse weather conditions may affect delivery speeds. Therefore, we cannot guarantee delivery times (unless previously agreed). If your goods are required urgently we recommend upgrading to an Express Delivery option or contacting us to discuss your requirements. Any order placed on an Express Delivery service before 1pm (GMT) will be shipped the same day (subject to stock availability).
Please ensure there will be someone available to receive the parcel at the delivery address provided, or that there is a safe place at the address where parcels can be delivered securely. If any parcel is returned to us because of failure to deliver (except where the fault is clearly ours or the carriers), we will charge a redelivery fee which will need to be paid before re-sending the order. Minimum World is only responsible for the safe delivery of goods up until the point at which they are successfully delivered to the address provided by the customer.
Please note that delivery instructions cannot be acted upon and we are unable to add them to your order.
All of our parcels are shipped from England, UK - if your delivery address is outside of the United Kingdom then your order may be subject to import duties and taxes imposed by your government on imported goods. You will be informed by the carrier of any applicable charges when the parcel reaches your destination country and these will usually be payable before your order is released for delivery. You, the customer, are responsible for payment of any such import duties and taxes. Please note that we have no control over these charges and we cannot predict their amount. We advise you to contact your local customs office for further information before placing your order. We will not be liable or responsible if you do not pay any such import duties or taxes.
