XPS foam sheets are very easy to cut with a sharp hobby knife that will leave a clean edge. Avoid using solvent-based adhesives and or paints as they can eat into the foam. For glueing, we recommend PVA, or, an all-purpose liquid synthetic adhesives like UHU. For painting, a water-based acrylic or poster paint works best.
